 With a funding of 3 million Euro SMS will built a pier at the historical SMS ship port. The SMS pier is supposed to be a tourism attraction within Paramaribo giving the possibility of relaxing in the middle of downtown Paramaribo with a splendid view of the Suriname river. This pier will also host a shopping mall and food stands to complete this soon to be famous Site in Suriname. Suriname Tourism.net looks forward to the establishment of the Suriname Pier and will keep tourist posted on the development of the SMS pier.
