When visiting Suriname it is necessary to know a visa needed to enter Suriname. You will be asked for your visa when entering Suriname by immigration officials. Suriname has a visa waiver for countries that belong to the Caricom such as Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago , Curacao, Brazil, French Guyana  and Aruba . All citizens  from other countries need a Visa in their passport to enter Suriname. Most of the visitors enter Suriname by air trough Miami and the Netherlands. Suriname Visa application can be done at the embassy or consulate in Miami or Amsterdam.

For countries which whom Suriname has diplomatic Relations their will be a Consulate or a Embassy to do your visa application. If for whatever reasons you may not have a visa to Suriname there is a Visa application Center upon Arrival before passing immigration officials. Although that may be your last option , do not count on it that you will be granted entrance to Suriname.
